In her book, we learn the ins and outs of dealing with a chronic illness and the undertaking it has on both physical and mental health. Having to navigate much of her illness on her own, AnaKacia moves us through her personal story and brings to light ideas and suggestions to explore living a life with meaning and purpose despite everyday challenges. Sometimes to do so we have to think outside of the box, which is exactly what AnaKacia did with one of her projects detailed in the book, she says,

Instead, it became a tool that helped me get through the most challenging time in my life and connect with others experiencing the same.
